Stella app review: is it legit, and does it work?

Beginner8 minute readUpdated October 2026
the short answer

Stella (Stella - Manifest Anything) is a real app for iPhone and Android. It writes and reads you short audio stories about your future life. It has 4.7 stars from 5,300 ratings on the App Store. The practice behind it works. It uses a Law of Assumption method: you hear your wish as already done, and that feeling brings it into your life. It suits people who love to listen. If you want to see yourself living your goals, Solulu, the app we make, is the better pick.

Stella in short

Stella is an audio app. It turns your answers about your life into short stories of your future. Each story is told as if it has already happened.

We make Solulu, a mind movie app, so Stella is a competitor of ours.

Stella
Full name Stella - Manifest Anything
Made by Perl Productions LLC (Wyoming, US)
What you get Short audio stories about your future, plus text, affirmations and pictures
Platforms iPhone (also runs on iPad) and Android
App Store rating 4.7 stars from 5,300 ratings
Google Play rating 4.8 stars from 1,600 ratings, 10K+ downloads

What Stella actually does

Stella writes a personal story of your dream life. Then it plays the story as audio, read by a narrator. Each story is usually two or three minutes long.

You start with a long questionnaire about you, the people you love and what you want. It takes 10 to 30 minutes. Then Stella writes stories that use your name, your people and your dreams. They are told in the first person, as if they are already true. They play over background sounds such as rain, a cafe or the ocean. You can also read the text.

The app has more around the stories. There are affirmations you can swipe through. Affirmations are short, positive sentences about yourself. There is also a list of your desires and a “Wall of Manifestations” for the things you call in.

With “Manifest on demand”, you type a goal such as “dream home.” Stella then writes a story for it. A new “today’s moment” story arrives every 24 hours.

Stella does not make video, and you cannot add your own photos. It does show pictures, but they are of other people. The app writes the stories itself (“generated specifically for you”, in its own words). A narrator reads them.

Is Stella free?

Stella is free to download. To listen to your stories, you need a subscription. You subscribe after the questionnaire.

Stella and Solulu give you different things. Stella gives you audio stories. Solulu gives you mind movies with your own face in every scene. Each one has a calm kaleidoscope opening, scenes of you living that life, affirmations and music. You get up to three new ones each week.

Coupon and referral codes. Early in sign-up, Stella asks if you have a referral code. That is why people search for one. Stella does not publish a list of codes, so be careful with sites that promise one.

Is Stella legit?

Yes. Stella is a real app from a registered company, with thousands of ratings.

The App Store seller is Perl Productions LLC, a company in Wyoming. On Google Play the developer is “Priestess.” The app comes from the “Hot High Priestess” creator brand on TikTok. Many users found it there. It came to the App Store in January 2026.

If you subscribe and change your mind, cancel in your phone’s subscription settings. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription. Our guide on how to cancel a manifestation app has every step.

Does Stella work?

Yes, the practice behind Stella works. You hear your wish described as if it is already done. This is “living in the end”, a Law of Assumption method. You feel your wish as already fulfilled. When you hold that feeling, the wish shows up in your real life. The real question is whether an audio story is the best way in for you.

Neville Goddard taught that what you assume and feel to be true hardens into fact. A warm story in the present tense is a gentle way into that feeling. Stella’s happiest users love exactly this. The stories feel real, and they are easy to play while driving or falling asleep.

The limits come from how the story reaches you.

  • It is someone else’s voice saying “I”. When another person tells “my” life, it can feel like hearing about someone else.
  • The pictures are not you. They show other people. That makes it harder to see yourself in the story.
  • You still have to build the picture. When the voice says “we walk along the beach”, the beach has to come from your own mind. Some people do that easily. Some people cannot picture things at all, which is called aphantasia. Many people see only faint pictures.

So Stella works best for people who love audio and picture things easily. The easier the feeling comes, the easier it is to hold until your wish arrives.

What Stella users love, and what they complain about

What users love

  • The stories feel personal and real, sometimes to the point of tears.
  • They are easy to listen to while driving, resting or falling asleep.
  • The stories use your name and the people in your life.

Two common complaints

  1. The long, personal questionnaire before you can listen.
  2. Bugs, such as audio that stops after 20 to 30 seconds.

Is Stella on Android?

Yes. Stella is on Google Play as well as the App Store. It has 4.8 stars from 1,600 ratings on Google Play.

Who should pick Stella

Stella suits you if you love audio and want stories written for you.

  • Pick Stella if you listen to things all day and picture scenes easily. It also suits you if you want a story for the car or for bed, or if you use Android.
  • Look elsewhere if you want to see yourself in your goals, or if you find it hard to picture things.

Stella is ahead of Solulu in two ways. It is on Android, and Solulu is iPhone only. And audio works with your eyes closed, while you drive or fall asleep.

Where Solulu is better

Solulu shows you your own future instead of telling it to you. For most people that is the better way to practice, for four reasons.

1. You see yourself living it

Stella gives you a voice and pictures of other people. Solulu makes mind movies with your own face in every scene. You see yourself with your person on a Sunday morning, or on the balcony of your new apartment. Seeing yourself there makes it feel like a memory, not a wish.

Research supports this. In a well known study, some people pictured themselves voting as if they were looking at a photo of themselves. They were more likely to actually vote than people who pictured it through their own eyes. Seeing yourself do something helps you believe you are someone who does it. And what you hold as true about yourself is what comes into your life.

2. It does not depend on your imagination

A story still asks you to build the scene in your head while you listen. With Solulu you look at the scene instead. So it works the same whether the pictures in your mind are bright, faint or missing.

3. It never goes stale

Most practices repeat the same words, audio or pictures every day. After a few weeks, your mind gets used to them and the feeling fades. The Solulu method makes refreshing part of the practice, and Solulu keeps making new mind movies of you as your story moves on. So what you watch never goes stale.

4. It is easy to keep doing

Watching a mind movie takes a few minutes. You watch at two set times, when you wake up and before you sleep. Each movie has a calm kaleidoscope opening, scenes of you living that life, affirmations and music. New ones arrive every week as your goals grow, so it stays fresh.

App You see yourself living it Works without a strong imagination Easy to keep up Platforms
Solulu Yes, your own face in every scene Yes, you watch the scene Yes, a few minutes morning and night, new movies weekly iPhone
Stella No, audio, with pictures of other people Partly, you picture what the voice says Yes, a new short story each day iPhone, Android
Your own recorded story No, audio only Partly Yes, free Any phone

Try a future-self story first, with no app

You can try the idea behind Stella today, with no app. You write and record your own story.

  1. Write five lines in the first person, present tense, about one normal day in the life you want. Use real names and real places.
  2. Add one thing you can see in each line. Not “I feel loved”, but what being loved looks like.
  3. Record it on your phone in your own voice, slowly.
  4. Play it when you wake up and before you sleep. Keep going until the story is your life.

Here is an example for an SP. SP means “specific person”, the person you want to be with.

It is Saturday and they are making pancakes in my kitchen, in the T-shirt they always steal. They turn around and say, “Coffee’s ready, love.” My phone buzzes with a text from my sister: “So happy for you two.”

And here is one for money and home:

I pay the deposit on my one-bedroom with the big window, and I do not check my balance first. I hang my fairy lights that evening and order takeout to celebrate.

Maybe you would rather see those scenes than hear them. Solulu is the iPhone app we make for that. You describe the life you want and add your photos. If you like, you can also add photos of your SP, places, outfits, pets and things you want. Solulu then makes mind movies with you in the scenes. You get up to three new mind movies each week.

It is our pick over Stella for the four reasons above. You see yourself living it, you do not have to imagine it, it never goes stale, and it is easy to keep doing.
