The best manifestation apps, compared: which one fits how you manifest

Beginner11 minute readUpdated October 2026
the short answer

The best manifestation app for most people is Solulu. It shows you your own face, already living the life you want, so you do not have to imagine it. It takes a few minutes in the morning and at night. If you want short affirmation lines on your Lock Screen all day, pick I am - Daily Affirmations. It has a free version. We make Solulu, and we say plainly where another app is the better choice.

We make Solulu, one of the apps on this page. We judge every app, ours included, on the same points. We say plainly where another app is the better choice.

The five kinds of manifestation apps

Most manifestation apps fall into five kinds. The right one depends on how you like to practice: reading, listening, writing or watching.

  1. Affirmation widgets. Short “I am” lines on your Lock Screen, Home Screen and watch, all day. Example: I am - Daily Affirmations.
  2. Affirmation audio. Spoken affirmations on a loop over music, sometimes in your own recorded voice. Examples: Innertune, ThinkUp.
  3. Future-self audio stories. A voice describes your life as if your wish has already come true. The story is written from a long set of questions about you. Examples: Stella, Aya.
  4. Journal and chat apps. Prompts, gratitude lists, goal trackers and, lately, AI chat companions. Several unrelated apps share the name “Manifest”, and most are this kind.
  5. Mind movie apps. A mind movie is a short video of the life you want, with scenes, affirmations and music. You watch it every day. Examples: Solulu makes them for you, with you in the scenes. Mind Movies lets you build one yourself from a library of images.

An app is the way the practice reaches you. The practice is what brings your wish into your real life. That is why the next question matters more than the app’s name.

What makes a manifestation app good

Every method that works does three things. It makes your wish specific. It helps you believe it is coming. And you focus on it every day. That is how the wish moves from your head into your life. A good app helps you do all three.

Methods differ in how they do it. Law of Assumption methods, like SATS and scripting, have you feel the wish as already done. Law of Attraction methods have you raise your feeling to match the wish. Repetition methods, like affirmations and the 369 method, repeat the wish until it sinks in.

When you look at any app, ask three plain questions:

  • Will I see myself in it? Reading “I am loved” is one thing. Seeing yourself laughing with your person on your own balcony is another. The closer an app gets to showing you living it, the easier it is to believe that life is coming to you.
  • Does it need a strong imagination? Many apps give you words or a voice and leave the picture to you. Nearly 1 in 25 people see very weak pictures in their mind, or none at all. For them, that is the hardest part.
  • Will I keep using it? The best app is the one you still open in week six. Short, fixed moments work better than long sessions you skip.

Our pick: Solulu

Solulu is the best manifestation app for most people. It is the only one here that shows you your own face, already living the life you want.

Solulu is an iPhone app. You describe the life you want and add your photos. If you like, you also add photos of your SP (your specific person, the one you want to be with). You can add the places, outfits, pets and things you want, too. Solulu then makes personalized mind movies with you in the scenes. Each one has a calm kaleidoscope opening, scenes of you living that life, affirmations and music. You get up to three new mind movies each week, so your movies grow as your goals do.

  • Platforms: iPhone.
  • Who it suits: anyone who wants to see the life they want, not only read or hear about it. It also suits people who find it hard to picture things. And it suits anyone who tried affirmations and felt they were just words.
  • Where it falls short: it is iPhone only. It is made to be watched, so it is not for listening with your eyes closed or while driving. For Android or audio, see the apps below.

Why Solulu is the best manifestation app: four reasons

Every app here helps you bring the life you want into your real life. Solulu does that job better in three specific ways.

1. You see yourself living it

I am gives you lines of text. Innertune and ThinkUp give you spoken affirmations. Stella and Aya give you a voice telling your story, and the pictures in Stella show other women, not you. Mind Movies gives you a library of stock images to build with. Solulu shows you your own face, already living the scene. So it feels like a memory, not a wish.

Research supports the power of seeing yourself from the outside. In one well known study, people pictured themselves voting, as if they watched from across the room. Afterwards they saw themselves more as voters. More of them also said they went on to vote.

2. It does not depend on your imagination

Audio apps ask you to turn words into a picture in your head and hold it there. That is the hardest part of manifesting. For people with aphantasia, who cannot see pictures in their mind, it is impossible. A Mind Movies movie is something you watch, but it is built from stock images. So you still have to imagine yourself in place of the stranger in each photo. With Solulu you simply look at the scene. All your energy goes into the feeling.

3. It never goes stale

Most practices repeat the same words, audio or pictures every day. After a few weeks, your mind gets used to them and the feeling fades. The Solulu method makes refreshing part of the practice, and Solulu keeps making new mind movies of you as your story moves on. So what you watch never goes stale.

4. It is easy to keep doing

Every app here is quick to open. What decides whether you keep going is whether the practice stays simple and fresh. Innertune gives you more than 550 playlists to choose from. Stella limits how many stories you get, and Aya’s stories do not loop. A Mind Movies movie is a slideshow you build by hand, slide by slide. It stays the same until you build another.

With Solulu you watch a short mind movie at two set times, morning and night. There is nothing to choose or build. New movies arrive each week, so it does not get old. This is the same routine as the Solulu method: one specific scene, you inside it, every morning and night.
