Solulu

The Solulu Method

See it until it feels familiar.

A visualization practice for the life you are choosing. Picture it in detail, see yourself inside it, and return to it every day until it feels like home.

From a sample mind movie

Most visualization breaks down at the picture. It is hard to feel at home in a life you cannot see.

The Solulu Method makes that picture clear, then keeps it in front of you.

The method

Three habits, practiced daily.

Nothing to memorize and nothing to force. The practice is small on purpose, so you can keep it up.

i.

Write your scene

Not more love or more money. A table on a terrace above the sea, the friends around it, the dress you are wearing. The more specific the scene, the easier it is to believe.

ii.

See yourself in it

Your face, your people, your places. Photos of strangers keep a life at arm’s length. Seeing yourself there makes it feel like a memory, not a wish.

iii.

Watch it every day

Watch when you wake and before you sleep, and swap in fresh pictures every few days so it never goes stale. The scene grows familiar, and what is familiar starts to feel normal.

Writing your scenes

Write from inside the life.

Describe each scene as you live it: where you are, who is with you, what you are doing. First person, present tense, small details you can see.

These four lines are the scenes in the film above.

  1. I read by the fire in my lakehouse while the lake turns gold.

Instead of I want a house by a lake.

  2. We toast on the terrace above the sea, and the whole table laughs.

Instead of I hope I find my people.

  3. I raise my champagne to him across our first-class suite.

Instead of Someday I will travel in style.

  4. He holds my hand as I step onto the boat in Venice.

Instead of I would love to see Venice one day.

The mind movie

The method, on screen.

A mind movie is a short film of the life you are choosing, set to music and affirmations. It is a long-standing visualization practice, and it puts all three habits in one place: a specific scene, you inside it, and something easy to return to.

Made by hand, a mind movie takes hours, and most end up full of stock footage of strangers. Solulu makes yours from your own photos and your own words, and keeps new ones coming each week.

Questions

A practice that feels personal.

What is a mind movie?

A short visualization of the life you are choosing, made from scenes, music and affirmations. With Solulu, it is personalized with your photos, goals and meaningful details, and the images, video and affirmations are created using AI.

Why watch more than once?

Repetition helps the scene and the feeling become familiar. Return to your favorite moments often, and add new ones as your picture of the life grows.

When should I watch?

Most people watch in the morning and before sleep, when the day is quiet. A few minutes is enough. Consistency matters more than length.

What if it feels strange at first?

It often does. A new picture of your life can feel unfamiliar at first. Keep coming back to it. That is what the practice is for.

Do I need the app to practice the method?

No. You can write your scenes, gather photos and build a mind movie by hand. Solulu does the making for you, so your time goes into watching.
