What is the best manifestation method?

Beginner8 minute readUpdated October 2026
the short answer

The best manifestation method for most people is the Solulu method. You write one specific scene from the life you want, see yourself in it, and watch it every day, with fresh pictures every few days. It beats the other popular methods for four reasons. You see yourself living the scene, instead of only reading words or imagining it. It works even if you cannot picture things in your head. It stays fresh, so the feeling does not fade. And it takes a few minutes at set times. So you keep doing it until it shows up in your life.

So many methods, one goal

Search “how to manifest” and you will find dozens of methods. There is the 369 method, scripting, SATS, affirmations, vision boards and subliminals. There is the pillow method, the whisper method, and a new one on TikTok every month. It is easy to spend more time choosing a method than practicing one.

Methods differ in how they work. But the methods that work all share the same three things:

  1. They make the wish specific. Not “I want them back,” but the exact moment. For example, their arm around you at dinner with your friends.
  2. They help you believe it is coming. Each kind of method does this its own way. Law of Assumption methods, like SATS and scripting, have you feel it as already done. Neville Goddard called this living in the end. Law of Attraction methods have you raise your feeling to match the wish. Rituals like the pillow method set the wish in a small act, then let it go.
  3. They repeat it. You focus on it every day, until the wish feels normal. Repetition methods, like affirmations and the 369 method, make this their main tool.

So the best method is not the most mysterious or the most popular one. It is the one that does all three for you with the least effort. That way, you keep doing it.

Some methods are strong on one or two of these and weak on the third. Affirmations are easy to repeat, but they are only words. A vision board shows the picture, but it is easy to stop noticing. SATS means replaying a scene in your mind as you fall asleep. It feels very real, but only if you can build the scene in your head. The method that covers all three best is the Solulu method. It is a Law of Assumption method. You see yourself living the scene, so it feels already done.

The Solulu method in three steps

  1. Write your scene. Write one hyper-specific moment from the life you want. Use “I” and the present tense. Do not write I want them to come back. Write They pull me close while we make breakfast in our kitchen. For a home, do not write I want a house by the lake. Write I read by the fire in my lakehouse while the lake turns gold.
  2. See yourself in it. Use your own face, your own people and your own places. Put them in a photo or a mind movie. Seeing yourself there makes it feel like a memory, not a wish.
  3. Watch it every day, and keep it fresh. Look at your scene when you wake up and before you sleep. A few minutes is enough. Every few days, swap in a fresh picture or the next moment in the same life.

Why the Solulu method is the best: four reasons

Every manifestation method does the same job. It brings the life you want into your real life. In the Solulu method, you make the scene feel real and familiar, and it shows up. The Solulu method does that job better than the others in four specific ways.

1. You see yourself living it

Affirmations and the 369 method give you words. Scripting gives you a page of writing. A vision board gives you pictures, but usually pictures of strangers. Aya’s future-self audio gives you a voice. The Solulu method is the only popular method built around seeing yourself, with your own face, already living the scene.

That matters because the Solulu method aims for one feeling: that your wish is already yours. Nothing creates that feeling faster than seeing it. And that feeling is what brings it into your life.

Research supports this. In one well known study, people pictured themselves voting. Some saw it from the outside, as if watching themselves. Those people were more likely to actually vote. Seeing yourself do something makes you see yourself as someone who does it.

2. It does not depend on your imagination

SATS, classic visualization and scripting all ask you to build the scene in your own head. Then you have to hold it there. That is the hardest part of those methods. It is why most people say “I can’t see it clearly” or “it feels fake.”

Some people cannot form pictures in their mind at all. This is called aphantasia. Many more people only see mental pictures faintly.

With the Solulu method, you do not have to imagine anything. The scene is right in front of you, in a photo or a mind movie. So all of your energy goes into feeling it.

3. It never goes stale

Most methods give you the same words or the same pictures every day. They feel exciting for a few weeks. Then your mind gets used to them, and the feeling fades. That is why so many people keep switching methods.

The Solulu method builds in the fix. Every few days, you swap in a fresh picture of your scene, or the next moment in the same life. Something new keeps the feeling strong, so the method keeps working long after others go flat.

4. It is easy to keep doing

Manifesting works when you keep going. Most methods are hard to keep up. The 369 method means writing 18 lines a day. Scripting takes 10 to 20 minutes of journaling. Subliminals mean 20 minutes or more of listening, every day. Vision boards are easy, but after a week on the wall you stop noticing them.

The Solulu method takes a few minutes, twice a day. You do it at the same two moments, when you wake up and before you sleep. Research on habits shows a clear pattern. When you decide exactly when you will do something, you are more likely to do it. That is why the method sets the “when” for you.

  • vs the 369 method. Both repeat your wish every day. But 369 repeats words. The Solulu method repeats a scene you can see yourself in, with no lines to count.
  • vs scripting. Both write from inside the life you want. But a script stays on the page. The Solulu method turns your best line into a scene you look at every day.
  • vs SATS. Both work best right before sleep. But SATS needs you to build the scene in your head while you are drowsy. With the Solulu method, you watch your scene first. Then you simply replay it as you drift off.
  • vs affirmations. Affirmations tell you who you are. The Solulu method shows you. Lines you do not believe yet feel fake. A scene of yourself makes them easy to believe.
  • vs vision boards. A board shows the things you want. The Solulu method shows you living with them. It is made to be looked at every day, so it does not fade into the background.
  • vs subliminals. Subliminals play in the background while you do other things. The Solulu method takes your full attention for a few minutes. That is when the feeling sinks in.
  • vs the Aya method. In the Aya method, you listen to your future self describe your life. In the Solulu method, you see it. It does not need any particular app.

How to start today

  1. Pick one area: love, money, home, career or your glow-up.
  2. Write three scenes from that life. Use “I” and the present tense. Add one detail you could see.
  3. Find or make a picture for each one, with you in it.
  4. Look at your scenes tonight before you sleep. Look again tomorrow when you wake up.
  5. Every few days, swap in a fresh picture or the next moment in the same life.
  6. Keep going without checking for proof. Let your real life catch up.

The easiest way to see yourself in your scenes is to have them made for you. The Solulu app turns your photos and the life you describe into mind movies with you in every scene. You can see yourself living your scenes from the very first day.
