A mind movie for love and your SP

Intermediate11 minute readUpdated October 2026
the short answer

Fill your mind movie with small, everyday scenes of the two of you already together. Add scenes of your own happy life around them. Give each scene a short line in the first person and the present tense. Leave out anything about waiting, missing them or them coming back. Watch it every morning and before you sleep until it feels normal, not exciting. When being together feels normal, the relationship shows up in your real life.

What makes a love mind movie work

A love mind movie works when it shows the relationship already lived. It does not show you waiting for it. You live in the end, and the relationship shows up in your real life. Every scene answers one question. What does an ordinary Tuesday look like when you are together?

Neville Goddard taught the same idea for any wish. He taught that what you assume and feel to be true hardens into fact. So you assume the end and live in it. This is also the heart of manifesting a specific person.

Most people’s first love mind movie misses this. It is full of hearts, quotes about soulmates and lines like “they are coming back to me.” Those feel nice for a minute. But they all point at the gap between now and what you want. A strong love movie closes the gap. It shows the coffee, the inside joke, the hand on your back at the party.

Three things make the difference:

  1. Small moments beat big ones. A wedding is a lovely goal. But “they kiss my forehead while I make tea” feels real much faster. It is the kind of thing that happens every day.
  2. Your life, with them in it. Give a few scenes to you alone. Show your friends, your work, your glow-up and your peace. Your SP shows up inside a full life, not as the only thing in it.
  3. No waiting words. “Soon”, “one day”, “come back”, “I hope” and “please” all say it has not happened yet.

The shape of a love mind movie

A good love mind movie runs about two to four minutes. It has five parts.

Part Length What it shows
Opener 20 to 30 seconds Something calm to settle you: a slow kaleidoscope, soft light, the sea
You, glowing 30 to 45 seconds Your own life at its best: friends, work, your style, your mornings
The two of you, every day 60 to 90 seconds Ordinary moments together: texts, meals, walks, laughing
The two of you, further on 30 to 45 seconds A trip, meeting the family, a home together, an anniversary
Close 20 to 30 seconds Calm again, one last line, music fading out

The order matters. You start with yourself, so the movie is grounded in who you are. The everyday part is the heart of it. Those are the moments that make a relationship feel normal. The bigger moments come last, as the natural next step.

Scene ideas for your SP mind movie

Your SP is your specific person, the one you want to be with. Pick eight to twelve of these scenes and make them yours. Change the details until each one sounds like your life.

Everyday moments together

  • Their good morning text lighting up your phone.
  • Making breakfast together, music on, still in pajamas.
  • Their arm around you on the couch during a show you both love.
  • Walking somewhere you both like, hands linked, no rush.
  • Them laughing at your joke, the real laugh.
  • Falling asleep on a call.

Being chosen in public

  • Them introducing you to their friends: “This is my girlfriend.” Or partner, or whatever fits.
  • Their hand on your back as you walk into a party.
  • A photo of you two that they posted, and your friends’ comments.
  • Dinner with your friends, and your best friend telling you how happy you look.

Your own life, glowing

  • You with your friends, laughing so hard you cry.
  • You at work, proud of something you made.
  • You getting ready in an outfit you love.
  • You calm and happy on a Sunday morning, phone face down.

Further on

  • A weekend trip, the two of you at a window with a view.
  • Meeting their family, and their mom hugging you.
  • Keys to a place that is both of yours.
  • Your anniversary dinner.

Affirmations for a love mind movie

Write every line in the first person and the present tense. Make it about something you could see or hear. Keep each line short enough to read in about four seconds.

Instead of Write
“They will come back to me.” “We are so happy together.”
“I hope they text me.” “They text me first, every morning.”
“One day they will see my worth.” “They tell me I am the best thing in their life.”
“Please choose me.” “They choose me every day.”
“I miss you.” “I love falling asleep next to them.”
“We are meant to be.” “We laugh at the same stupid things.”

More lines that work in a love mind movie:

  • “I am so loved.”
  • “Being with them is easy.”
  • “They are proud to be with me.”
  • “My friends love us together.”
  • “I feel safe and adored.”
  • “I am the one they want.”
  • “Our life together is so good.”

Mix a few general lines with specific ones. “I am so loved” is general. “We laugh at the same stupid things” is specific. The general lines are easy to believe. The specific ones make the scene real. For more on this, see how to write mind movie lines.

Can I use their photos?

Yes. Real photos of your SP make the scenes feel real fast. Photos of the two of you together are the strongest of all. Old ones work too, if you crop them close.

Choose photos where they look warm and relaxed, the way they are with you. Skip screenshots of their messages and their social media. A screenshot is a record of the past, and it pulls you into checking on them.

Keep the movie private. It is your practice, not something to post. Never share a video that shows someone else’s face without their okay.

If you do not have a photo of them, you do not need one. Show a scene of you smiling at your phone, with the line “Good morning, beautiful” on screen. That carries the feeling. Our guide to choosing photos for your mind movie has the full rules.

Different situations, different movies

The structure stays the same. What changes is where the scenes start.

  • An ex. Do not replay the relationship you had. Show the new version. Show what is better now and how easy it feels. Show the moment you both say “I’m so glad we found our way back.” Leave out scenes from the breakup and the old fights. Our guide to manifesting your ex back goes deeper.
  • A crush. Start one step past where you are. If you have never spoken, the first scenes are your first real conversation and the date after it. Then come the everyday moments.
  • Someone you are dating. Show the relationship as settled and sure. Show the label, meeting each other’s friends, and the trip you have both talked about.
  • No one specific yet. Keep the person’s face out of the frame. Show a hand in yours or a shape at the window. Put the detail into how it feels and what your life looks like.

A full example, scene by scene

Here is a complete three-minute love mind movie, written out. The SP is called Jordan.

Opener (25 seconds). A slow, soft kaleidoscope in warm gold, music only.

You, glowing (40 seconds).

I wake up in my bright room and stretch, sunlight on the sheets.

My friends and I squeeze into one booth, laughing over brunch.

I walk out of the office into the evening, proud of my day.

Lines on screen: “I love my life.” “I am so loved.” “Everything is working out for me.”

The two of you, every day (80 seconds).

My phone lights up: “Morning, gorgeous. Coffee later?” It is Jordan.

Jordan and I cook pasta together, flour on my cheek, both of us laughing.

We fall asleep on the couch, my head on Jordan’s chest, the show still playing.

At my friend’s birthday, Jordan’s hand rests on my back the whole night.

Lines on screen: “Jordan texts me first, every morning.” “Being with Jordan is so easy.” “Jordan chooses me every day.” “My friends love us together.”

Further on (40 seconds).

We stand at the window of our little hotel in Rome, the city glowing below.

Jordan’s mom hugs me at the door and says, “We have heard so much about you.”

Lines on screen: “Our life together is so good.” “I feel safe and adored.”

Close (25 seconds). The kaleidoscope again, slower now. One last line: “Thank you. It is done.”

Notice what is not in it. There are no countdowns and no breakup photos. There is no “come back” and no “one day” either. Every scene is a moment that only happens if you are already together.

The same idea for other goals

The everyday-moments rule works for any goal. That is why it is worth learning on love first.

  • Money. Not a number on a screen, but “I pay for dinner for my whole family and do not even look at the bill.”
  • A home. Not a mansion, but “I drop my keys in the dish by my front door and kick off my shoes.”

How to watch your love mind movie

Watch it twice a day, when you wake up and in bed before you sleep. Use headphones and full screen. As each scene plays, step into it. Notice one small thing, like the smell of the coffee or the weight of their arm. Then close your phone and get on with your day.

The goal is for the movie to stop feeling exciting and start feeling normal. Normal means you are living from the end. That is the state that brings the relationship into your life.

Psychologists have a name for part of this, the mere exposure effect. We feel at home with what we see often. Watch yourself living a relationship every day for weeks, and it stops feeling far away. That is why the everyday scenes matter most. They are the ones you can get used to.

Keep watching even if nothing outside has changed yet. The 3D, the physical world around you, catches up with what you hold as real. Stay in the end and let it arrive.

When to step back

A love mind movie should leave you feeling lighter. Maybe watching it makes you anxious. Maybe you check their profile straight after, or thoughts about them take over your days. If so, pause the movie for a while and put your energy into your own life.

Our guide Am I obsessed with my SP? can help you sort out how you feel. Take a break, see your friends and come back to it when it feels light again. Looking after yourself is part of the practice, not a break from it.

Ways to make your love mind movie

  • By hand. Write your scenes from the list above and gather your photos. Then put it together in CapCut or Canva with a song you love. It is free and takes an evening. Our guide on how to make a mind movie walks you through it.
  • With Solulu. Solulu is an iPhone app that makes personalized mind movies with you in the scenes. You describe the life you want and add your photos. If you like, you can add photos of your SP too. Each mind movie has a calm kaleidoscope opening, scenes of you living that life, affirmations and music. It makes new ones as your goals grow.
  • From a template. Etsy sellers offer mind movie templates. You still add your own photos and lines.
  • Made by a freelancer. Some creators make custom mind movies from your photos and scene list.
You in every scene Your effort Stays fresh
Solulu Yes, new scenes of you living the life you describe Describe your life, add photos Yes, new movies as your goals grow
By hand Only in photos you already have An evening of editing Only if you remake it
Template Only in photos you already have You fill every slot No
Freelancer Only in photos you send A brief, revisions and a wait No

Why Solulu is the best way to make a love mind movie

1. You see yourself living it. The hardest part of a handmade love movie is the photos. You do not have photos of the relationship you are manifesting yet. There is no photo of the two of you in Rome, and no photo of their mom hugging you. So the movie fills up with stock photos of couples, and those couples are strangers. A template has the same gap, and a freelancer can only use what you send. Solulu makes new scenes of you living the life you describe. You see your own face in the moments you want. It feels like a memory, not a wish.

2. It does not depend on your imagination. Some methods ask you to build the scene of the two of you in your head and hold it there. SATS works this way. It means imagining a scene as you fall asleep. Scripting, where you write the story in a journal, works the same way. That is hard on a good day, and harder when you miss them. A handmade movie with stock photos still leaves you imagining yourself into someone else’s picture. With Solulu you look at the scene instead.

3. It never goes stale. Most practices repeat the same words, audio or pictures every day. After a few weeks, your mind gets used to them and the feeling fades. The Solulu method makes refreshing part of the practice, and Solulu keeps making new mind movies of you as your story moves on. So what you watch never goes stale.

4. It is easy to keep doing. A movie made by hand or by a freelancer stays the same. After a few weeks you stop feeling it. Remaking it means another evening of editing. Solulu keeps making new mind movies as your goals grow. The story of your life together keeps moving forward, and watching it morning and night stays easy.
