AI mind movies, explained
Yes. You give an AI mind movie app your photos and a description of the life you want, and it makes the scenes, affirmations and music for you. Some AI tools only write affirmations and show pictures of strangers. Solulu makes scenes of you living the life you describe. Before you upload photos anywhere, check three things. The app should ask your permission, let you delete everything, and have clear rules about photos of other people.
How an AI mind movie is made
A mind movie is a short video of the life you want, with words and music, that you watch every day. You see it, feel it as yours, and it comes into your real life. In an AI mind movie, AI does the making. You bring the words and the photos, and it makes the scenes.
The finished movie has the same parts as a handmade one. It has a calm opening, scenes of the life you want, affirmations and music. Affirmations are short positive sentences, written as if your wish is already true.
Most AI mind movie tools work in roughly this order:
- You describe the life you want. Share your goals, and if you can, specific moments. “I wake up in my apartment by the park” works better than “a nice home.”
- You add photos, if the tool takes them. You add photos of yourself. Some tools also take photos of the people, places and things in your scenes.
- The AI writes. It turns your answers into scenes and short affirmations that use “I.”
- The AI makes the pictures. This depends on the tool. It might use stock photos or new AI images of made-up people. Or it might make new images and clips of you in the scene.
- It adds sound and puts it together. It adds music, sometimes a spoken voice, and edits it all. The movie is then ready to watch on your phone.
The big difference between tools is step 4. That step decides if the movie feels like your life, or like a pretty video about somebody else.
The kinds of AI mind movie
Not every “AI mind movie” puts you in it. Here is how the four main kinds compare.
| Kind | What the AI does | You in the scenes | Your work |
|---|---|---|---|
| AI mind movie of you, made for you (Solulu) | Writes the scenes and lines and makes scenes of you living the life you describe | Yes | Describe your life, add photos |
| AI words and generated pictures | Writes affirmations and makes AI images of your goals | No, the people are made up | Describe your goals |
| AI pictures you put together yourself | A general AI image tool makes pictures of you, one at a time | Yes, if you write good prompts | Writing prompts, picking, then editing it all yourself |
| Slideshow apps with AI text | AI writes affirmations. You build the visuals from your photos or a stock gallery | Only in photos you have | Building the board |
Here is one example. ManifestVision.ai writes affirmations and makes AI images for each slide. Paying members can swap in their own photos. The site lists “AI puts you in the scene” as coming soon.
Why “of me” matters
People search for an AI mind movie of me for a simple reason. A mind movie works best when you see yourself in it.
Most handmade mind movies hit the same problem. You do not have photos of the life you have not lived yet. So the movie fills up with stock photos of strangers in strangers’ homes. You watch it, and part of you knows it is not you.
AI can close that gap. It can make the pictures you could never take. You on the balcony of the apartment. You and your SP, the specific person you want, at dinner with your friends. You walking out of the office you want.
Research supports this. In one well known study, people pictured themselves voting. Some saw it from the outside, as if watching themselves. Others saw it through their own eyes. The outside group was more likely to say they voted.
Seeing yourself do something helps you see yourself as someone who does it. An AI scene of you gives you that outside view, ready made. It also means you do not need a strong imagination to use it. Our guide on choosing photos for your mind movie explains more about why your own face matters.
How realistic are AI scenes?
AI scenes can look very real, often like a photo or a clip from your phone. They are not perfect, and they do not need to be.
What to expect:
- Your face is the part that matters most. Good scenes look like you at a glance. If a scene does not, the cause is usually the photos you gave it.
- Small details slip. AI most often gets hands, writing on signs and busy backgrounds wrong.
- Other people are harder. A scene with two faces, like you and your SP, is harder to get right than a scene of you alone.
Better photos give you better scenes. Use photos that are clear, well lit and recent, with no sunglasses. Give a few different angles.
Also remember what an AI scene is. It is a picture of the life you are choosing, made for your practice. The scene does not bring that life to you on its own. You do, when you feel it as real and keep coming back. The scene makes that easy to do.
Is it safe to upload my photos?
It can be, if you check a few things first. Your face is personal data. Photos of your SP are personal data about someone else. So choose an app with care, the way you would choose a bank. Read what it does with what you give it.
Check these eight things in any AI mind movie app:
- Does it ask before it sends your photos to AI? You should see a clear consent step, not small print.
- Does it read your whole photo library? It should only see the photos you pick.
- Who processes your photos? The privacy policy should name the AI companies it uses.
- Does it train AI on your photos? Look for a plain answer. It should also say what its AI companies are allowed to do.
- Can you delete everything? Look for a delete option in the app. Check what it deletes: answers, photos and movies.
- Is anything public? Your movies should not appear in a public feed or be used in ads.
- What are the rules for photos of other people? A responsible app tells you to use only photos you have the right to use. It also bans using the app to harass or pretend to be anyone.
- Is it for adults? Apps that make realistic images of real people should be for people 18 and over.
How Solulu handles your photos
We make Solulu. Here is exactly how it handles each point. This comes from its privacy policy, in effect since 29 September 2026, and its terms.
| Question | Solulu |
|---|---|
| Asks before sending to AI | Yes. Setup asks for your permission to use AI before you submit personal content |
| Reads your whole library | No. You choose photos through Apple’s photo picker |
| Who processes your photos | Named AI and hosting companies, each linked in the privacy policy |
| Trains AI on your photos | Solulu does not train its own AI models on your content. Some of the AI companies it uses may do so under their own terms, which the policy links |
| Delete everything | Yes. Go to Settings, then Delete My Data. It erases your answers, photos and movies |
| Public feed | No. Your movies are for you to watch and are not posted to a public feed |
| Sold to anyone | No, never sold |
| Photos of other people | Upload only photos you have the right and any needed permission to use. Do not pretend to be or harass anyone |
| Age | Adults 18 and over |
Your movies are AI pictures of the life you are choosing, made for your practice. Solulu does not promise any outcome, or anything about any person. Solulu shows you the scenes. Manifesting is what brings them into your life.
Using photos of your SP
You can add photos of your SP to an AI mind movie. It can make the scenes of the two of you feel real. Treat those photos with care.
- Keep the movie private. It is your practice, not a post. Never share a video that shows someone else’s face without their okay.
- Use it to feel, not to check. Watching scenes of them might make you anxious or send you to their profile. If so, pause and put the focus back on your own life.
- Keep the scenes about your life together. Everyday moments of the two of you, already together, work best. Leave out anything about them leaving, coming back or being made to do something.
Making an AI mind movie yourself
If you like a project, you can make one by hand with general AI tools. Here is how.
Write eight to twelve scenes. Use “I” and the present tense. Find an AI image tool that takes a photo of you, and make one picture per scene. Then put them together in CapCut or Canva with your lines and a song.
Before you upload your photos, check the tool’s privacy settings with the list above. Expect to spend an evening or two writing prompts, picking images and editing. You will spend the same again each time you want a new movie. Our guide on how to make a mind movie covers the editing part.
Why Solulu is the best AI mind movie
Solulu is an iPhone app. You describe the life you want and add your photos. If you like, you can also add photos of your SP, places, outfits, pets and things you want.
It makes personalized mind movies with you in the scenes. Each one has a calm kaleidoscope opening, scenes of you living that life, affirmations and music. Among AI mind movies, it is the best choice for four reasons.
1. You see yourself living it. Some AI tools write affirmations and make pictures of your goals. They show made-up people, not you. Slideshow apps can only use the photos you already have. Solulu makes scenes of you living the life you describe, with the people, places and things you add. You see your own face already there. It feels like a memory, not a wish.
2. It does not depend on your imagination. A tool that shows strangers still makes you imagine yourself into every picture. That is the hardest part of manifesting. Making your own AI pictures avoids that problem. But it only works if you have the time and the skills to write prompts and edit. With Solulu you look at yourself in the scene. There is nothing to imagine and nothing to edit.
3. It never goes stale. Most practices repeat the same words, audio or pictures every day. After a few weeks, your mind gets used to them and the feeling fades. The Solulu method makes refreshing part of the practice, and Solulu keeps making new mind movies of you as your story moves on. So what you watch never goes stale.
4. It is easy to keep doing. A movie you built from AI pictures stays the same until you spend another evening remaking it. Solulu keeps making new mind movies as your goals grow. The practice stays fresh, and watching it morning and night stays easy.
If you want to try the practice first, make one by hand. If seeing yourself in the scenes is what you are missing, Solulu is built for exactly that.
